Dynamic Properties of Chain Drive in a Scraper Conveyor under Various Working Conditions

A scraper conveyor is important in coal mining. During operation, its working performance affected by chain speed fluctuations, terrain and load changes. Thus, evaluating the influence of these factors on dynamic properties a important. This study first built property test bench. Then, vibration signals reducer output shaft were measured under various speed, terrain, conditions. Finally, evaluated conducting frequency domain analysis signals. The results show that motor, second shaft, second-stage meshing gear are sensitive to external factors. Under conditions “horizontal + vertical” bending, middle chute was most sprocket chain. type condition had significant scraping phenomenon chute. conditions, amplitude each decreased, especially motor but greatly increased. great significance for improving structural optimization conveyors.
